For the ‘ 09 contest I used the little JFET regen I’ve been fiddling with.

It pulled-in my weakest daytime stations and it had plenty of selectivity, so I’ll call it a success.

It’s kind of magical that so few parts can hear so much.

Couldn’t do much listening in the evenings. We were either away someplace - or there was a thunderstorm. There sure were a lot of thunderstorms around here this year. And the signals seemed weaker than in the winter. Guess that’s normal (?)

Thanks Rob and Dave for putting on this contest. It’s fun, something to look forward to, and a good motivator to build something.
