My entry for the '08 Homebrew Radiocontest is the Mystery set that I posted on Dave's RadioBoard Forums:
http://theradioboard.com/rb/viewtopic.php?t=966

First I'll give it a run as a regular single tuned set to see how she behaves.

Then I'll couple it to my "Electromagnetic Energy Harvester" (just a Tuggle tuned antenna coupler) - that's also posted on Dave's Forums:
http://theradioboard.com/rb/viewtopic.php?t=1132

It will be interesting to see how the Mystery set performs as a double-tuned radio. (Steve B has posted good words about the double tuned Mystery configuration.) The little coupler just sits on top of the radio case as shown in the picture. Nothing fancy. The radio (and coupler) are a lot of fun to operate; laid-back and simple.

The A-G system is a 200' inverted V, with the apex at about 35', and a 4' ground rod.
