The coil is a 2.5" X 3" ID PVC with small litz wire for the tank coil.The antenna and tickler coil is 20ga teflon, If I use much more than 22 VDC on the plate I would have to change the regen circuit, the radio works well as it is. The dial is I think a early national that was used on many radio, this one is from my junk box, I believe reproductions are available from Play Things of the Past Parts. The regen knob is also from an early radio from my extensive junk box. The toggle switch is power on - off and I have a white LED in place of the lamp in the dial I power it with the 2 D cell in series the 2 D cells are in parallel for the filaments.Two 9 volt batteries supply the B+.
